How to Play 3 Jewels Game
The game is recommended for groups of 2-10 players. Starting with the Host, players take turns selecting a card from one of six different themed decks and then following the prompts. The first player to complete the journey will have three Core Cards: a Past, a Present and a Future card plus 3 JEWELS and no Stones, and becomes the Winner aka “The Queen of Jewels!”
Let’s Get to Know the Cards
There are six different themed decks. Some cards ask you to share a story, make a guess, use your imagination or act out a playful dare.
Core Cards
You will need ALL three of these cards. The only rule is that you must collect one and only one of each Core card : Past, Present, Future. On your turn, you decide if you want to choose a Core Card or a card from one of the other decks. You read the cards out loud. Each one is different. (Hold your cursor over each card below to read it’s description)

TIP : We offer two different Danger & Daring decks : the one in the Game box (artwork shows woman wearing Red Boots & with Blue wings) is our R rated version. The Bonus deck (she’s wearing Green Boots and has Gold wings) is the PG version. Choose whichever one you’re in the mood for with the group you’re playing with.
If you pick a card that is a little too dangerous and makes you uncomfortable, just pass your turn and pick another card next time. No need to read aloud a card that you choose not to play.
Jewels have special powers in this game (just as in life)
- When the jewel Heart is in your hands you have extra protection. It help protects you from gaining stones or losing jewels. Whoever is the first to complete a Danger & Daring card receives the jewel Heart
- The jewel Heart remains in your possession until someone else completes a Danger & Daring card and then you must pass it on to them.
- Two colored Jewels can melt a stone (this is one way to get rid of a stone). On your turn, You give up 2 of your Jewels to get rid of 1 of your stones.
- And of course you need 3 Jewels to win the game !
Queen of Jewels
The first person to complete the journey and have all three Core Cards: Past, Present and Future, 3 JEWELS and no Stones, is the Winner.
Part of the game is Celebrating the Journey – so a beautiful closing might be to go around the circle and have each person share one or two kind words about the new QUEEN.
An optional but really fun aspect of 3 Jewels is coming up with ideas for Celebrating the Queen. This can be as simple as giving her one really fine piece of chocolate or bottle of her favorite beverage – or as involved as everyone agreeing to send one email during the coming month to the Queen letting her know how well she is thought of.
